ABOUT KIM


Mentored by Emmy Award and Golden Globe winner Debbie Allen, Kim Hale brings a 360-degree approach to her work as a performer, speaker and dance educator.
Kim was featured as the "Pie Lady" in the 2020 Emmy Award winning Netflix holiday musical "Christmas on the Square" starring Dolly Parton, Christine Baranski, Jenifer Lewis and Treat Williams. Kim was also one of the Assistant Choreographers of the film directed and choreographed by Debbie Allen. She also served as Assistant Choreographer to Ms. Allen on her recent Easy Spirit campaign, ABC’s Scandal and “Opening Night: Diana Ross at the Hollywood Bowl 2018.” Recent performing credits include "Spirited" starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, Mrs. American Pie (upcoming - Apple TV+), commercials for Home Goods (upcoming), So Cal Gas and NIKE, multiple episodes of The Late Late Show with James Corden choreographed by Chloe Arnold and The Ellen Show. As a content creator, Kim has partnered with leading brands including Dunkin’ Donuts, Delta Dental, Talbots, Michaels and Paramount Pictures.
Kim appeared in the National Tour of Applause directed by Gene Saks and choreographed by Ann Reinking, pre-Broadway workshops of Chicago and Fosse, Debbie Allen’s Hot Chocolate Nutcracker as well as industrials for Shell Oil, State Farm, Harley Davidson and Redken. She served as Director and Choreographer of the 2nd Annual ANOC Awards Dinner and Gala which aired on NBC Sports Network. and was part of the Creative Team of the Special Olympics 2015 Opening Ceremonies which aired on ESPN.
Kim spent five years as Assistant Professor of Dance in the BFA Musical Theater program at Syracuse University. She also served on the dance faculty at AMDA-LA, Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Debbie Allen Dance Academy and as a guest teacher Steps on Broadway in New York City. Kim spent six years as an Agent in the Dance Education and Choreography Departments at the Movement Talent Agency (MTA).
Kim received her Bachelor’s of Science from Wellesley College and Master’s Degree from Syracuse University.
